Water Department

  • The monthly utility bills are mailed on the 1st and are due by the 10th of every month. The bill includes charges for water, sewer, and garbage services.
  • The bill is considered late on the 11th and will be charged a late fee of 10% of the unpaid balance.
  • Cut-off for non-payment is on the 20th of the month. A $25.00 re-connect fee will be charged after that date. Once a reconnect fee has been charge the city will turn on the water within a 24 hour period.
  • Customer deposit fees are: $40.00 for inside City limits and $60.00 for outside the City limits.|External Link}}{{ :wiki:dokuwiki-128.png?direct&100|}}

  • Garbage pick-up is on Thursday of every week unless that day falls on a Holiday.
  • If you have a problem with your water or sewer, please call 478-847-3435 Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.


It is the City of Reynolds Public Works Departments goal to keep the city clean and attractive. If we all work together and follow some simple guidelines this can be easily accomplished. These procedures will assist in a more efficient, productive and cost effective collection program. Thank You!

All Yard Debris must be properly prepared for collection. Yard Debris includes: grass clippings, leaves, twigs, branches, limbs, tree parts, shrubbery, vines, garden plants and other naturally occurring vegetative matter. Grass clippings, leaves, twigs, shrubbery, vines, garden plants and small items must be placed near the road.

Grass clippings or leaves may be put in large trash bags but is not required.

All yard debris must be placed at the curb without blocking mailboxes, utilities, driveways, sidewalks, drainage systems or roadways. Branches and limbs must be trimmed of twigs, vines and leaves. Branches must be cut to a maximum of four (4) feet in length and no thicker than six (6) inches in diameter and each piece shall weigh no more than fifty (50) pounds and must be stacked neatly at the curb. Tree limbs that are cut by professionals or hired contractors should not be left at the curb for collection by the city.


  • Limbs no thicker than 6 inches and no longer than 4 feet. Stacked neatly.
  • Leaves or small vegetative items in sturdy 20-40 gallon container with two handles.


  • Limbs thicker than 6 inches and longer than 4 feet.
  • Logs, stumps, construction and building materials, furniture, appliances, junk, etc.


  • Yard waste piles contaminated with plastic bags or non-yard debris items will not be collected.
  • Yard waste pile must be at least 4 feet from any object.
  • Yard waste pile must be on level ground in right of way connected to property that waste was collected from.
  • Do not pile debris of any kind in ditches or drainage systems.
  • Yard debris collected by professionals or hired contractors should not be left at the curb for collection by the city.
  • No single item shall weigh more than 50 lbs.

Citizens can also take Yard Debris to the Taylor County Inert Landfill on Hwy 137. The hours are M-F 12-5 and Sat. 8-12. Call 478-862-3048
