Business Hours
City offices are open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except during city observed holidays. The following holidays are observed: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; July 4th; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day and Friday following; Christmas Day.
Services
The City of Reynolds provides water and sewer services to its residents.
Garbage collection is provided to city residents contractually between the City of Reynolds and Transwaste. Pickup is Thursday each week. Yard debris pickup is a service provided by the city and is by work order request. Call city hall at 847-3435 or e-mail waterclerk@reynoldsga.com to place a work order.
City Council Meetings
The City government has a mayor and six council members. City Council meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at 3 E. William Wainwright Street. Meetings are scheduled every month to keep the public informed. You are welcome to attend. Agenda items must be submitted by noon on the preceding Friday.City Clerk Office
City Hall is conveniently located in the heart of the city at 3 E. William Wainwright Street. Water bills, water connection, city taxes, traffic citations can be paid here and business license, building permits, and zoning issues can be obtained by contacting the City Clerk, Alane Patterson, at City of Reynolds, P. Police Department
The City of Reynolds Police Department is located at City Hall at 3 E. William Wainwright Street. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. daily. Police Chief Lonnie Holder and his staff of five are available to serve the community 24 hours a day. Call 478-847-3435 during office hours. Call 911 to contact the police after hours or to report an emergency.
Public Works Department
Public Works Director, Scott Jones, and his two man crew oversee the water and sewer works as well as maintaining streets and public use facilities.Fire Department
The City of Reynolds is fortunate to have a 25 member all volunteer Fire Department. Fire calls should be reported by dialing 911.
Ambulance Service
Taylor County ambulances and EMA Director Gary Lowe is located in Reynolds and ambulance service is available by dialing 911.
Community Library
The Reynolds Community Library is located in the completely refurbished Depot directly behind City Hall. Their hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Phone (478)847-3468.
Multi-Purpose Building (Armory)
The Multi-Purpose Building (Armory) is available to rent on a first come first serve basis. Reservations must be made in person. Call City Hall for details. 478-847-3435.
